Personal Relaxation
and Meditation Training
Private coaching is available where, depending on the specific needs
of each client, self-care techniques such as autogenic relaxation, progressive
relaxation, mindfulness and meditation are taught in a one-to-one setting.
These approaches to eliciting the Relaxation Response are supported with easy
to understand explanations and CD resources. Biofeedback graphing provides a
visual reference that enables clients to see their progress and assist in the
perfection of their relaxation skills, so critical in the successful management
of pain or stress.
Mindfocus™ Workshop
MindFocus is a unique, inexpensive and intimate workshop that guides
small groups of participants through simple and effective techniques for
overcoming stress and pain through elicitation of Dr. Herbert Benson’s
Relaxation Response. This experiential, relational and interactive course
provides a forum free of mysticism, religion and rituals, where an
understanding of mindfulness and the practical uses of relaxation are easily
attainable by all. Participants receive a CD resource for home practice and no
physical postures, exercises or stretches are required. Classes and a FREE
introduction run almost every month.
Self-Hypnosis
This unique
self-hypnosis program puts participants in complete control of the entire process.
Throughout the course of self-hypnotic coaching, their specific goals and
needs, discovered during Dr. Richard Hart’s proven process of assessment, are
at the forefront of every session, ensuring a totally tailored solution that
suits and serves them best. Along with a self-hypnosis training CD, a custom
recorded CD addressing their own specific wellness goals is an integral part of
this program that empowers participants to continue benefitting from the power
of deep relaxation and positive suggestions long after it’s completion. This
program has proven very successful for smoking cessation, pain control and even
improving at golf.

Psychotherapy
Relational
psychotherapy is a powerful, effective model for working with individuals who suffer
from chronic emotional, psychological, relational distress or trauma. Emotional
distress is often rooted in patterns of relational experience, past and
present, which have the power to demean and deaden the self. Together, client
