MindFocus is a
unique, inexpensive and intimate workshop that guides small groups of
participants through simple and effective techniques for overcoming stress. This experiential and interactive
course provides a forum free of mysticism, religion and rituals, where an
understanding of mindfulness and the practical uses of relaxation are easily
attainable by all.
Over the course of 4
weekly sessions, each 2 hour class builds
both competency and the motivation to benefit whilst fostering a positive state
of mind and an increased resilience to
stress. In addition to relaxation and breathing exercises, participants learn other
vital skills for releasing stress and tension that include recognizing and reducing
the impact of negative thought patterns.
No physical postures,
exercises or stretches are required. All participants receive a CD resource for
home practice.
